Good Monday morning Col Burroughs and Posse. Each new day offers us an opportunity to "do good things" The key is to take advantage of that opportunity. They don't have to be big things. Sometimes it is the little things that mean the most. Hold a door, make a call, donate to a good cause (I have a list if you need it), support a friend in prayer and spirit, say a kind word...some might cost money and others are absolutely free. What can you do good today? There are no limits!

Makes you reflect back and think about the good things someone did for you and the mark they left behind for your benefit.

I hope that you have sufficient discernment to realize what the individuals you would like to do good for actually need and appreciate and that your priority is their benefit, pleasure, and blessing. I expect you are aware that gossip is abhorrent to the LORD and that you take pains to refuse to gossip or spread gossip. I pray that you and I demonstrate respect for each person we interact with and those we talk about who are not present. ‘Whoever belittles his neighbor lacks sense, but a man of understanding remains silent. Whoever goes about slandering reveals secrets, but he who is trustworthy in spirit keeps a thing covered.’ [Proverbs 11:12-13 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.

I pray that each of YOUR adopted sons and daughters is content in our circumstances and we are each free from inordinate desires for worldly wealth, power and influence. I pray LORD that YOU renew the mind of each of us by the washing of YOUR Word. 'Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.' [Romans 12:2 ESV]
I pray for discernment, sufficient nourishment, and early warning against risk for the deployed service members, police and investigative agents and first responders. I lift their family members and loved ones to YOU dear LORD. I pray that YOU guide trustworthy people who are great listeners to assist the family members as they wait for their loved ones. ‘The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer. My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. [Psalm 18:2 ESV]
I pray that YOU bless the USA Senators with wisdom as they weigh the bills the US House send to them. I pray for justice for the terminated employees and contractors in the energy industries and the small business owners who went bankrupt because the pipeline contacts have been terminated and the southern border wall terminated, dear LORD. 'Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's cause.' [Isaiah 1:17 ESV]
I lift the social-network gatekeepers, the publishers and editors of CNN, MSNBC, FOX, ABC, CBS, NBC, New York Times, Washington Post news organizations, and the Federal Communications Commission to YOU LORD. I know YOU abhor liars, gossips, and sycophants without backbone. I pray that YOU do what is necessary to shake up these organizations to turn them from overt bias against the faithful believers. ‘A worthless man plots evil, and his speech is like a scorching fire. A dishonest man spreads strife, and a whisperer separates close friends. A man of violence entices his neighbor and leads him in a way that is not good. Whoever winks his eyes plans dishonest things; he who purses his lips brings evil to pass.’ [Proverbs 16:27-30 ESV]
I pray for an increase of compassion, kindness, goodness, love for neighbors, and selfless volunteering to help the neediest throughout the USA, Canada, Mexico, UK, France, Germany, Poland, India, Philippines, and Australia dear LORD. 'But as for you, O man of God, flee these things. Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.' [1 Timothy 6:11-12 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Monday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Tuesday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ

Love this topic- “Do good. And good will come to you.” Karma!

Go out and commit some random act of kindness today, RallyPoint! It will make both the world and you better.

Good "Monday" morning my good friend Maj Robert Thornton - thank you for dropping in this morning and providing us with some great quotes - always doing something good Robert...

“Individuals with leadership and vision on this forum and people throughout the world doing good things will leave a wonderful message imprinted on the hearts of those they support and help. ‘Whatever good things we build end up building us.’ — Jim Rohn. May you find that special purpose in life to perform your very best deeds that will leave a lasting impression; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy. Don’t stop when you think you’ve accomplished good things, start all over again on the next good thing.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs
