I am absolutely in agreement with you. Trump wanted him executed. I can't say I disagree.

Need to overturn it to desertion and dereliction of duty, with a dishonorable discharge and prison time.

I thought he should have been executed. Other soldiers died because of this POS deserting his post. A miscarriage of justice has certainly been made, what about justice for the soldiers who died honorably?

MAJ Montgomery Granger I heard an interview with some of the family members of the six who died. They seem to believe that their loved ones died searching for that POS. I side with them.

MSgt Steve Sweeney you are correct, but that doesn't make it untrue as well. In WWII we executed deserters of battlefields. Same should apply here.
