Thanks for letting us know SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. When I read Surgeon general. I thought of the Surgeon General. Now I see it is the US Navy Surgeon general who said his organization is poised to help service members navigate gender transition. That sounds like the US navy is footing the bill for gender-reassignment surgery.

If someone isn’t sure about that basic truth of life, they have no business being in the military, and we have no business paying for their “transition”. That is 100 % elective surgery. Next we’ll be covering boob jobs, face lifts, tummy tucks, etc. this is what the Bush/Obama 16 years brought us. The military is not a social experience, it’s a war fighting force.

There is a very good reason that these elective surgeries are provided in the military. The armed services must attract new doctors in training to be surgeons of various specialties. Exposure to and training in these procedures is crucial in the training of new surgeons to be well-rounded and competent. Without this, military surgical training programs are less attractive.
