Ma'am, the sad truth is that there are those out there falsifying reports and awards to get more bling on their uniform, fortunately this is a very small group of morons. The BS that they do cause a ripple in Soldiers being awarded what they are due and cause second reviews and even third reviews. I had a CPT try every trick in the book to get a CAB and was defeated at every turn for his phony attempts to the point he was relieved. After we returned CONUS I found out that he had orders for a CAB from the supported unit. I requested through my COC to have those orders revoked due to the falsehoods used to get that CAB and to this day this POS still wears it.
