A handgun chambered 6.5 CM? The 6.5 is known for reach out and touch. I kind of feel like you'd be wasting the capability of the round using it in a handgun. The one saving factor is if you're carrying a 6.5 long gun you only have to carry one type of ammo. I'm going to say no to this one.

I'm with you, having to carry only one kind of ammo would be convenient but otherwise I don't think its a good fit.

I'm with you .... and the only viable use would be for self-protection against bears; and then only if a person is frequently in bear country (Alaska, Yellowstone, ETC.).
