When I was young I ate cod fishcakes with lots of ketchup :-)
That is the only fish I ever ate. I can't even tolerate fish oil gel-tabs :-)

Danish tradition, open faced sandwich: sardines mashed up a bit on pumpernickel bread with thin slices of onion, salt and pepper. Pretty standard at my grandparents home when I was a kid.
