Kansas City, Kansas, activist Tarence Maddox is suing the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department officers for damages suffered when he was pepper-sprayed by officers in a video that went viral. The lawsuit that also names his juvenile daughter as a petitioner.
Maddox, who served on the Wyandotte County Commission from 2011-2105, and his 15-year-old daughter were among those pepper-sprayed after he stepped off the curb May 30 during a protest against police brutality at the Country Club Plaza.

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth With this Video in Hand. I Suspect that Mr Maddox will Win and the City of Kansas City will have to Pay and Pay big for His Injuries. Yes He was Taunting the Police but they Seem to Have Moved on Him First. Considering the Protests We've Handled on the Plaza Before with Little to No Problems. This wasn't Handled Well.
