That is great news SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that the USA and Japan have agreed to extend the basing agreement until 2025. After a vicious fight with the Japanese in WWII they have grown to be our strongest ally in the pacific.

I don't see the Marines leave the area, they may leave okinawa but they will remain someware in the area. They have North Korea and Communist china to contend with. I think china is our worst enemy now. We should start making more things in the USA. If china decided to boycott the USA. We would be in trouble untill we start making things again. Japan doesn't want a very strong military because of WW II and the Atomic Bomb. Moving Marines to Guam and Hawaii I don't think is an option. Guam is smaller than Okinawa and they would have to take land away from the civilian population. It is far away and so is Hawaii. The only other option would be to move the Marines to Formosa but the communists would not like that. It might start a War. Semper Fi.
