Opinion | The GOP has controlled the House for 1 day. It’s already a circus.

Over the past few weeks in Washington, two big questions loomed large over the 118th congressional menu as it prepared to be sworn into power: 1) Would a splintered House GOP be able to come together and govern as a single unified force, or would it descend into a maelstrom of chaotic infighting and disarray? And 2) Would House Republicans use their slim majority to turn the extremism dial all the way to red, or would they be able to pivot to something akin to bipartisan governing?
The events of the first hours of GOP control of the House on Tuesday suggest that we already have our answers in both cases. With the House Republicans’ failure to elect Kevin McCarthy as speaker in its initial votes due to a small but unwavering group of hardened MAGA Republicans, the GOP will serve up a feast of chaos and extremism — at least for the foreseeable future.

There's nothing to fear but fear itself as FDR used to say.
Some Republicans are very upset because Mitch McConnell and others didn't get a compromise like they thought they would. Democrats under former speaker Nancy Pelosi would do this in secret. Republicans did this out in the open and it's something like Thomas Jefferson would have liked. The motion to vacate can now be brought down by one vote instead of being taken away like Nancy Pelosi did.
Republicans will be able to stop the insanity that President Biden has done in the last 2 years. Spending like drunken Sailors and calling something in inflation reduction act when it's actually more of an IRS and green New Deal Act.
Republicans want a 72-hour window to read a 4,000 page Bill not get it a few hours before and not be able to debate it.
It's possible we still may have some arguments but at least you'll know what's going on what'd you say and it won't be like the famous the statements by Nancy Pelosi to vote for it and find out what's in it later.
At least it didn't go over a hundred votes like it did in the early 1800s.
A lot of this was a personality problem and some this was they wanted to make sure that McCarthy wouldn't wimp out to Democrats who don't believe in good fiscal policy.
The way Democrats are today, President Clinton and JFK would be moderate Republicans.
Yesterday, I saw something that was hypocritical. Congressman t l a i b was telling financier Jamie dimon that Arabs were being discriminated against in banking in the USA. She was questioning the bankers and then she immediately turned around and told Bankers to not fund and discriminate against oil and energy interests. That was totally hypocritical! Watch the first 3 minutes of this video and then when she didn't get what she wanted, she threatened the banking industry!
The one good thing is the Church of the green New Deal will have less Traction in Congress because Congress especially the house have the power of the purse.

If Democrats want to govern correctly, they need to follow what Jamie Diamond has here in these slides.
Democrats claim equity and they want everyone to be equal but the nail so pick winners and losers and they discriminate against people with differences of opinion and that's why we are finding out from Twitter that some Democrats are autocrats especially those in the FBI and idiots like Adam Schiff don't make it any easier.

Left this Democrats and the mainstream media that protect the Biden Administration and the broke and schizophrenic Democratic party of today have actually been weakened because people never really knew how important the Speaker of the House is. The open debate, arguing and almost fist fight situation actually took attention away from President Biden trying to save face at the border that he has ignored for over two years.
