My only argument I have is for "He has done decent things while he was president"
Give me a detailed paragraph of the list of things he's done to better this society and we'll see how long it stands up.
Though I do respect the man for trying to stand by the election.
At Least the wolf can turn against the pack when the new alpha appears.

Trust me when I state this, that I've talked to several young, old, peers of my age and I've tried to reason with them, but all it brings is frustration, because for some odd reason, a majority of the civilian population bring emotions into politics.

I agree with your analysis. I have had many disagreements with Obama on policy issues, but would have to agree that he was overall a good president. I do believe that he was misguided in many of his initiatives, but those who were screaming that he was trying to destroy the country were just showing ignorance. This is the key issue with the political discourse that I have seen in America today. Let's get back to where we can actually debate the issues instead of just lobbing ad hominem attacks on each other.

Nixon acted similarly in 1960 after it was determined that a whole lot of dead folks voted ifor Kennedy n Chicago & Texas.

SPC John Parmenter - Yes, he refused to try to get a recount. This significantly changed how he viewed politics. Some Historians argue that it was this loss that was the turning point that led to Watergate.
