I see senior leader misconduct cases come through my office and wonder what went wrong. These are the folks we expect to set the best example and be the leaders we want to follow. Without knowing the details of this case I don't know the truth behind the charges but there is obviously something there for them to draft them up. Weather they hold up or not may be a different story. What example are we setting for the junior service members when leaders are accused of UCMJ violations? As leaders we are not perfect or without flaw but when it comes to receiving reprimands or UCMJ action what message does that send? Did this behavior begin recently or has this been something building for years? Throughout my career I have seen many senior leaders, at all levels, become the headline of the day for misconduct. For being the military and receiving the daily "thank you for your service" from the locals, we are no different than the general public when it comes to committing crimes and misconduct. I wonder if that changes their perspective of us? Thanks for sharing this article.

DMAFB is also home to the 355 FW as well. It's an active duty A-10 wing. 12th AF severs the western half of the US, with 9th AF responsible for the east. With that being said, WTF did a numbered AF command chief do to deserve this? I'm wondering if he wasn't having an affair that he was ordered to cease, and didn't.

MSgt John Taylor – I made the update you suggested. Thanks for the correction! Whatever he did, I'm sure that he puts on his pants the same as we do.

SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL – I'm not always certain about the sources but most of the information on RP is better than watching mainstream news.
