Thank you, my friend Lt Col Charlie Brown for sharing that "Mike Rowe on Trump's SOTU, Dems' Refusal to Stand: Dangerous' to Frame Everything as 'This or That'
"Television host Mike Rowe joined "Fox & Friends" Wednesday to weigh in on President Trump's State of the Union address, saying the political polarization in the country is becoming "dangerous."

As typical Mike Rowe is spot on about the Democrats responses to President Donald Trump during the state of the union address to congress.
1. President Donald Trump opened his SOTU by listing poignant choices.
Greatness of Gridlock
Results or Resistance
Vision or Vengeance
Incredible progress or pointless destruction
a. Democrats claim to be pro-choice - except that choice is limited to induced abortion.
b. Binary choices may not be logical in many areas but in a polarized state - this or that makes sense
Saluting those who worked to get us to the moon, those who fought for democracy against tyranny in WWII should have been universally recognized as good.

2. Ironically many of the democrats were wearing white which stands for purity. They did not stand in support ending third trimester abortions - since they tend to be lock step in support of induced abortion in all cases for any reason [exceptions Senator Joe Manchin [WV]] and

3. I certainly think that this nation needs electricians, plumbers, and skilled workers of all sorts from textiles to manufacturing vehicles and furniture and appliances as well as micro circuitry.
"In an interview on Fox News Rowe is calling for a cultural shift in how Americans define a “good job.”
Rowe first became famous due to his show “Dirty Jobs” where he travels the country and meets with people who do hard work that other people wouldn’t want any part of. He did a great job highlighting the dignity of all work.
“We have 7 million jobs that are currently available, 75 percent of which don’t require a four-year degree,” Rowe said.
He took things a step further and explained how if we are able to change the cultural outlook on certain jobs, it could be a massive boost to the economy."

My cousin has 3 kids. The oldest 2 went into trades out of high school, have REALLY good paying jobs, own their own houses, and can travel and do whatever they want. The youngest looks to be in school until he is 60 at least, because he can't decide whether he wants to be a nurse, DR, or PA, and what type of each he wants to be. Of course, the school encourages him to explore all opportunities (so they get more tuition)... Nothing wrong with trade schools, and those that actually take advantage usually do much better!

Trades people are in demand. My neighbor owns a machine shop, he is having a hard time hiring qualified people.
