Martin Luther King - I Have A Dream Speech - August 28, 1963 (Full Speech)

Thank you for honoring our brother-in-Christ the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by sharing the video of his I Have a Dream Speech SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. A friend of mine is a US Marine veteran who is short and very white. He was on the mall that day as a white speck in a primarily black crowd.
Martin Luther King Jr was named not only after his father but also the monk Martin Luther who initiated the Reformation in the Church. Martin Luther and Dr. King were both articulate and principled men who inspired millions by their principled stands for truth and justice.
While many in the civil rights movement wanted vengeance, Dr. King wanted all people to be treated with respect independent of skin color, gender, what they did for a living or where they lived. In those days railroad tracks separated people in many areas. "Living on the other side of the tracks" defined who you were to many.
Kudos to Dr. Martin Luther King!
