In the 70's most when going to the gas station, they would only put $2 to do what ever they needed to do.
Those old days, the service person would clean your windshield, put gas, and check your oil.
When I got out of school, my first job was at a gas station, I was the tire repair guy, and service guy, and closed up at nights.
