Went to Vietnam a teenager, 1966… woke up, after reconstructive surgery in 1967, a grownup soldier in an Army hospital, Yokohama, Japan - one of the lucky ones… limited memory of the entire tour.
Got married to my wife after 2nd tour in 1969, raised four sons, we’re celebrating our 52nd year of marriage in August 2021… Rarely does one get so lucky, to get the right woman; and get to keep her.
