Thanks Maj Marty Hogan for letting us know that February 12 is the anniversary of the birth of the wife of John Quincy Adams, was First Lady of the United States from 1825 to 1829 Louisa Catherine Johnson Adams who was the daughter of the American Consul in London.
FYI as most of us realize, each President and First lady was born as a British colonial until President Martin Van Buren whop was born in 1782.
Rest in peace Louisa Adams!
First Lady Biography: Louisa Adams. This series provides biographies of all the First Ladies of the United States, as if spoken by each of them in their own words.
