I witnessed a .50 Cal loaded with depleted uranium rounds, punch a hole through an Abrams tank at 200 yds. This was at Camp Pendelton, MCB, where a group was experimenting with different rounds against the amorment of the Abrams, without the added waffling. The round hit the lower body, abouve the tracks, but below the skirt.

The original Barret .50 cal (well a .55 cal but many were re-barreled to .50 cal after the war.)
