I was at Camp Lejeune at that time and was diagnosed with leukemia about 5 years ago. I will be 83 in April. My VA doctor told me to apply after I was on chemo for 6 months and in 2017 I was put on 100% disability as there is no cure. I did do Chemo in 2016 for 6 months under medicare and a supplement and has stayed in remission so far. I do get dental care because of the 100% rating.

Sounds like we do not have a group on RP. I saw a good one on FB, but RP is much bigger and many more vets. I have really enjoyed RP.

In 2006 I received a e-Mail, and a snail-mail from The Dept. of Navy, informing me that during my stay at Camp Lejeune I HAD been exposed to water contamination. They did not say probably, could have been, or possibly. This was the 1st time I had heard of it. They gave me a list of symptoms to be aware of. Sense then I have been bombarded with multiple legal firms, not to mention the media. VA said ignore them. It cost nothing to register a claim. Also there is no time limit on filing a claim. I became victimize by one of those firms through my ignorance.

I wonder how to make a tag? or group to let people Hashtag or focus on keeping CLNC residents to stay informed.
