I don't give a damn if the Russians respect us or not. Since when did we worry about what other nation states cared about us on the world stage? Never have trusted them nor will I ever...they are the enemy and will always be for me. Why do you think our nations symbol (the eagle) has spears in one hand and olive branches in the other? We try to get along for trade and world peace by holding the olive branches but we are ready to use the spears if we have to. Never trust the Russians fully...do what we need to do to get what is best for the US...that's it.

In reference to the above, I will provide us here with a video of red bernie with his now good communist (he is dead) friend, Fidel Castro, in that video he also brags about his travel to Nicaragua where he advised the communist regime of Ortega on how to defeat/deal with the "Americans".
