An enormous mound of Burmese pythons entwined in a 7-foot-wide (2.1 meters) mating ball was recently found in Florida's Everglades after conservationists followed several tagged males that were out looking for sex.
The mating ball contained a 14-foot-long (4.2 m) female and five males, and two additional males were found close to the aggregation, Ian Bartoszek, a wildlife biologist and science coordinator at the conservation organization Conservancy of Southwest Florida, told Live Science in an email.

I think I saw one of these in Thailand once … no snakes present if you get my drift!

Used to see huge ones along the road when driving out to the aircraft at Utapao. If any were partially across the road bus drivers would run over them, claim the kill over the radio, then pick them up when returning from dropping off crews.

Because Of All The Mosquitoes, Flies, Unbearable Heat And The Roads Were Full Of Snakes, And Dangerous Wild Animal Wandering All Around; And Albrook Was So Far From Town, He Never Even Saw The City. ~~ W E L L ~ Having Lived In Panama, I Knew He Was Feeding Her Bull Sh*t, So I Asked For His Mailing Address, So I Could Give Him Some Tips.....SO I Wrote Him A Detailed Letter And Explained To Him, If I EVER Hear That Bull Sh*t Again, I'll Be Telling Your Fiance About All The Cat Houses In Panama, Where Albrook Is Located, And How Close You Live To Them ~~ ETC......So He Told Her He'd Been Transferred To Another Base In Panama, Much Better Than Albrook, But To Still Write Him At His Current P.O. Box At Albrook & They'd Forward His Mail......

AMEN! BACK in the sixties, our CO had authorized several of us to the use of a jeep, & go into the OREGON mountain forest area, to fire our personal weapons, & I remember having the delight of shooting a timber RATTLER, scattering the snake all over, boy was that fun.
