This has been happening in the Army for a long time...I have seen males and females, enlisted and officers, share sleeping arrangements while in the field...no biggie.

I'm with you sir I don't see a big deal either we have been doing it going back to the invasion 2003 living with Marines on the move and having to deal with it. Marine Engineers have also been doing it for years, just pointing out the difference in the field. What I found out is there is too much stuff going on for them to worry about doing other things and you become a team in the field. The problem is change, people do not like it.

LTC (Join to see) You are absolutely correct Sir, we have been doing this for years in the Army, it's not a big deal.

SP5 Christine Conley - That would be cool. Mine was: For months in a tent, in tents in field exercises, in open fields with no cover, hotel rooms (yes I said it) we slept with our uniforms on, in vehicles, on vehicles, on airplanes...... when you're tired it really doesn't matter as long as you get to sleep. Where you sleep or which battle buddy is sleeping next to you becomes irrelevant.

Having served through two integrations in the Engineers I predict an initial bump in SHARP incidents both real and perceived, as everyone figures out boundaries followed by smooth sailing.

Funny that some people are worried. Using the reality TV show Naked and Afraid as an example, two random strangers are forced to survive. Interviews with all the contestants have shown that none of of them have had sexual encounters, reason being is because there's other things to worry about. I feel the same on the field.
