Dwight David Eisenhower was a graduate of USMA, West Point [number 5,573] along with Omar Nelson Bradley in the class of 1915 SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL During WWII he served as the commander of many forces which culminated in Operation Overlord which is known to many as D-Day. After the war he was Chief of Staff of the US Army from 1945 until 1948. He retired in May 1952 and resigned in July 1952 in order to be able to run for POTUS. He was elected as President of the USA and served as PTUS from 1953 to 1961. In March 1961 he was reappointed as General of the Army.
Kudos to former President and General of the Army Dwight David Eisenhower!

I like it, General Eisenhower is talking to Airborne troops! While I am not Airborne, I served proudly with the 101st in Vietnam.
