Who are you referring to SSgt (Join to see) when you mention "the guy who in effect her dad during those 15 years when she was missing is now serving a lifetime sentence." I hope you are referring to the man who illegally kept her.
I am thankful that she made it out alive and generally physically unharmed. I hope and pray that the emotional scars will be gently headed by the LORD.

Well she was kidnapped after her mother never returned. Her defacto dad was molesting my daughter and his three daughters. After she was 15, she turned from LAX and I took care of her until she reached 18. I am grateful for the 3+ years but I did not know what he was doing. He is serving consecutive 100 year sentences. The story is convoluted and she told me the other night. I felt something was amiss, but no way what he did to the girls. I always suspected he was a prick and the whole story is out now. My daughter was taking care of three teenage girls and my daughter is only 28. What a mess, but my daughter was mature enough, to help the best that she could. She is a Christian also. 200 years to be served consecutively! Now time to forgive what he did to the girls. It will be hard but adversity has been no stranger, and have not really cried. My hearts pounds.
