Defense officials approve expanded veterans online shopping benefit

Thanks for letting us know SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that honorably-discharged veterans could be able to shop online at military exchange websites as early as Veterans Day, 2017 if there are no objections from Congress.
Increasing the shopping population by about 18 million more people may be enough to increase market share to drive down prices to be more competitive with Amazon and Walmart.
To be honest I am most interested in Congress making the commissaries more affordable - that would require increasing the subsidy most likely.
I hope that military commissaries are a good deal OCONUS.
