Deadly Maui Fire Caused by Rekindling of Earlier Extinguished Blaze, Investigation Finds

There's a ton of blame to go all around. It's not just HECO (Hawaii Electric) and the Fire Department. Maui Emergency Management and the moron at DLNR (Department of Land and Natural Resources) who didn't release water because of 'water equity' issues with taro farmers share in this. Then the lack of avenues of escape for people, except towards Ka'anapali. A tragedy compounded by human errors.

I worked this disaster, it was heartbreaking! And could have/should have been avoided.
