Let's remember though, that there was no torture at Gitmo, only "Enhanced Interrogation Techniques," or "EIT," which were lawful and approved and only performed on "a handful of detainees, which saved many lives" (George W. Bush, "Decision Points."). DoD personnel, including incarceration troops (mostly Army Reservist Military Police) are NOT trained in EIT, only CIA are trained in these techniques, which were not defined as torture back in 2005 and before. Although still not meeting a strict definition of torture, these techniques have now been banned. Gitmo is actually the finest military detention facility on earth.
