The question I ask is why is FOX NEWS so watched? They are rated the exact same as CNN as far as being factual, they both receive the rating "MIXED" which is below "MOSTLY FACTUAL", mostly factual means they tell facts more than they tell lies, so mixed means they don't tell facts more than they tell lies... why would anyone count on that for their news of what is really going on in the world?

SFC Casey O'Mally - great point. News outlets are not only competing with similar networks they are as well competing with online services - thus the need to pander to a base in order to generate revenue. Viewers are part of the problem as they are condoning the biased commentary that's getting infused into the news because they are biased themselves.
