Thanks for reminding us TSgt Joe C. that on March 13, 1915 that British forces ended their three-day assault on the German trenches near the village of Neuve Chapelle in northern France which began on March 10, 1915, at 8:05 a.m. as British forces attempted to break through the German trenches at Neuve Chapelle and capture the village of Aubers.
My paternal grandfather and his brother fought as British Army lance corporals in the Great War.
