I do not understand religions that base their belief system on an old book that can be interpreted as however any person wants. That's not a religion, that's using a book to justify your own views. Society changes, and the Bible doesn't. That seems dangerous to me.

Maj Marty Hogan - what did Valerie Tarico say that was incorrect, Biblically? I'm sorry, I'll go with Dr. Tarico. As a former evangelical fundamentalist, and a published author in that specific area of expertise, I have to agree with her position.
