You do have to give her credit for being interviewed by Brett Baier, if she actually goes through with it. It will be the first, and probably only time, she will face real questions.

She has faced real questions... The problem is those journalists either failed to follow up effectively or they simply accepted her non-answers. My hope is that Bret follows up, gives her the opportunity to actually answer the questions without platitudes, passing the buck to Congress, or give generic answers which do not address the questions. i.e.
Journalist - "Why has yours stance changed on building a wall and securing the border?"
Harris - "I've travelled this country and I want to reach consensus."
Journalist - "So are you saying you're changing your stance to placate the center/center-left voters who are concerned about border security or are you actually going to follow through, and what does this look like? Also, how does this conflict with your values?"
Harris - "My values haven't changed, and I will strive for consensus."
Journalist - "What values are you referring to and how do these relate to the question on securing the border?" What specfically will you do to secure the border?"
Harris - "I will call upon Congress to pass a bill to secure our border and reach consensus with the American people"
Journalist - "What if Congress is unable to achieve a consensus you're confortable with? What would you be agreeable to? What Executive actions will you take to deal with the more immediate need and/or if Congress is unable to pass a bill (or if they do, one you will not sign)? Furthermore, why haven't you done anything for the last 3.5 years?"
