Good Red Friday morning, Rallypoint, and welcome to the October 4th edition of Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD). This was the early morning view on September 30th from Praia Grande, Santa Catarina in southern Brazil. The waning crescent Moon is just peeking above the eastern horizon. Comet A3/Tsuchinshan–ATLAS is definitely putting on a show down south. We'll get our chance starting October 16th. Cheers.
