I get the commander is responsible for everything that happens under his control, but this seems too little, too late. I'm glad I'm not an investigator or on the board. I think whatever decision is made, it's going to hurt everyone all over again.

I was taught as a leader we are responsible for everything we and our troops do and fail to do. I have taken many an ass chewing for my soldiers and NCO's, the hardest thing to do was not lose my temper with them for it. But I have told soldiers they may want to move to an MOS that was not as demanding as Infantry.
