Two of my Vietnam Veteran friends also have cancer related to Agent Orange, one with lung cancer and the other prostate cancer. Both received excellent care at the Pittsburgh VA. I was sent a few months ago for a routine lung scan. Well guess what ? Lung cancer. They caught it in stage 1 and I had surgery August 5th. Removed 1/3 of my lung. Agent Orange. If the VA had not sent me for a scan , the outcome would have been quite different. There are no signs of early lung cancer. It is usually discovered when it's too late. One other Rally Point member knows this and remained silent. Bottom line, thank you VA for for probably keeping me on the top side of the dirt a little longer.
