APOD: 2024 September 2 – A Triangular Prominence Hovers Over the Sun

The astrophotographer that captured this image titled the photo "Candle on the Sun." The candle 'flame' is approximately the size of the Earth. The equipment used to take today's APOD was: Telescope: Achromatic 152/900, Camera: Zwo Asi 178mm, and filter: Daystar quark Cromosphere.
