VA's Threat to Withhold Disability Checks over Decades-Old Separation Pay Surprises Vets

Not Trump, they were told this was controversial when they collected, or tried to, 34 years ago. One of the reasons I decided to not claim any disability when I retired 32 years ago.

HERE is one for the books. I had a phone call just last week, it was a lady with VA, & she calling to let me know that I wasn't supposed to call the SUICIDE hot line, unless i was planning on taking my life! I shouted back to her, & explained that I called the crisis line because I live alone, & my throat was so sore that I had no food for about 10 hrs, & then I asked her, What comes 1st the CRISIS or the SUICIDE? It stumped her, & I explained to her who I was, & explained my predicament, & she then understood! SHHHH the next day I received the medication I needed. No common sense.
