President Biden is a serial liar. He's not the kind of person we need to represent the USA world wide and domestically. He screws up everything he touches, just ask Obama.

We watched this last night. There were many touching moments. Number 2 for me was the WW2 Vet who would reenlist for Trump. :)

I was in a United States Army Reserve Training Command that was once the 75th ID. I was there from 2012 to 2018. I went from CPT to LTC serving under the 75th.

9 years ago, I met a veteran named Bill Brown of the World War 2, 75th Infantry Division here in Canada who also fought alongside him in the Battle of the Bulge in Dec 1944, the same Division also crossed the Rhine River in March of 1945.

I wrote an article and posted it in my 1st BDE, Pacific Division, 75th Training Command monthly Newsletter.

Bill Brown passed away in 2019 at the age of 93 so Bill Brown was about the same age as this veteran at the Republican National Convention.

I posted the story years ago on Rally Point. I will have to find it.

It was a powerful speech, followed by one from a 98 year old WWII vet who can deliver a more inspiring speech than Biden could ever dream of. In a little over a month, I will once again honor the 13 American Servicemen and women who made the ultimate sacrifice as we withdrew from Afghanistan, and betrayed all those who deployed there, their families, and the Afghan people. In the past I started out with a 13-mile hike, to include a ruck sack. I have since had to do away with the ruck as my back issues can no longer take it. This year I intend to swim 13 pool lengths (a little over 300m), bike 13 miles, and walk 13K (my runs are limited to 5Ks due to the back, so I won't push it).
