I thought the decision was incomprehensible at the time and now that I know what she said to the defendant, I find it to be cruel and unusual punishment.

At what point do pro-choice narratives become so encoded in a federal judge’s head that when it comes time to sentence an anti-abortion protester to prison — in this case, an ailing 75-year-old woman who expressed doubts about surviving prison life — that same judge will quip, “Make an effort to remain alive because that’s a “tenet of your religion.”

I thought Ms. Harlow was outside the clinic, so I have learned something about her case.

It's interesting that a physically frail old man (and Catholic)wasn't, and won't be, prosecuted for a non-violent crime but this lady was. What a great legal system we got.
