Glad the pilot ejected safely … on reflection I too have suffered an inflight emergency… happened after a business trip to Taiwan and a night of passing the bourbon bottle just before flight time … exacerbated by a locked toilet when needed in a hurry … I’m stopping here…

W H A T ?. No Porto-Potty?
And As For The Bourbon Issue.......
Here's a "Partial Solution" ~~
Induce Yourself With Highly Concentrated Oxygen.
Oxygen, When Added To The Blood Stream,
Reduces The Affects Of The Alcohol.....
And THAT'S An Unfortunate Truth..

Sounds like Your ejection got complicated by an access problem to the Emergency facilities provided and it got complicated there. In You case I guess what bailed out was contents only and not You. Well anyway, glad I've never had that experience while in flight. LOL

I've Read The Article, But I'd Like To Make A Comment, As It's Been Happening So Often.
~~ Were I Part Of The Investigating Team, I'd Be Checking For Various Radio Frequencies...
Ones Which Can Interfere With The Aircraft's Controls. Those Could Be What's Causing Some Of The Issues & Pilot Error, Therefore CAUSING Those Losses Of Ours ~~

Dang. Hopefully the pilot is okay and the problem wasn't caused by him or her.
