I respect that answer. Me? I think segregated service units would greatly reduce the incidence of sexual abuse and assault. Combat Arms, Basic Training, etc., should have separate units for men and women, just like we do in sports from 7th grade through professional leagues. Women can excel at soldiering, with or without men. I served most of my 22 years in integrated units in medical and Military Police. It worked for the most part, but the intimacy and camaraderie required for combat arms is different than for combat support and combat service support. Nature is a powerful force for some. No excuse, but it doesn't take a brain surgeon to know men and women do better at a lot of things separately.

Yeah, I have mixed feelings on this one. Trying to fix the problem on the back end is like chasing your tail. No easy answers.

Segregated service units would help, IMO. Especially in combat arms, Basic Training, etc.
