Typically, New Year’s Eve has drawn somewhere between 450 to 550 couples to wed in Las Vegas since 2018, the Review-Journal reported.
But not this year for Vegas Weddings. The company is fully booked on midnight at its multiple venues, including its brown-brick chapel in downtown Las Vegas with a white steeple and red awning.
Willis-Williams said her company alone expects to wed more than 120 couples on New Year’s Eve. Five of those couples will tie the knot just as the clock is counting down to midnight.

Crazy. Not even in my drunkest state would I have taken any woman there, let alone marry her. A quickie marriage usually ends in a costly divorce.

Got to laugh at that one. We had a guy in our squadron who flew his girlfriend out during a Red Flag and married her in one of those chapels. Unfortunately his previous wife had lied about signing the divorce papers, so the bigamy charges ended up costing him his career. For some strange reason they didn't want bigamists on PRP.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen Too funny! When I got served with divorce papers, we had been separated for almost two years. I heard nothing from the woman after sending the signed papers back. So I called the county records and asked when the divorce had been granted. I then drove the fours hours one way to get certified copies. I still have the originals and scans, even though it's been almost 30 years since it was granted.
