Cognitive dissonance

Interesting point of view...I disagree with much of it but we as a society definitely fit the definition of cognitive dissonance on so many issues.

Disagree with pretty much the entire article. But the comparison between Trump and Biden in here is interesting.

Trump was working on peace in the Middle East. If he had been re-elected and able to continue with the Abraham Accords, I truly believe he would have been at least considered for the Nobel Peace Prize. Not saying he would have won, because everybody loves to hate Trump.

Compared with Biden who is supporting open war in Israel.

And yes, I understand the circumstances are different. Israel in July, 2023 and Israel now is the same difference as the US in July, 2001 and the US in December 2001. Their world (and ours) changed on both the micro level and macro level in the course of one morning. I get that.

But the juxtaposition of Trump the peace builder and Biden the war monger is still interesting. Especially when compared to the rhetoric spouted by talking heads and media propagandists.
