I think though that the government might be buying a bunch of homes to house the illegals Sister Charlie. And just like biden was refilling the strategic gas while the price was high, he probably will buy the houses while the price is up.

Ity does not help when government regulation increases the cost of home construction. It is time to ask with every new regulation "are we hitting the point of diminishing returns?"

Another problem that I see...
Newlyweds, just starting out have an expectation of living the same standard of living that it took their parents decades to achieve.

My first home purchase was a 960 sqft, 2-bedroom, ramshackle piece of crap.
-Crappy neighborhood
-Poorly insulated
-Poorly maintained
-heating, electrical and plumbing all on their last legs

There was plenty of room for us to develop some "fixer-upper" equity.
