Great post John! Magical Boston is ! Just walking the freedom trail is enough to give you goosebumps. So much rich history everywhere you turn. The Bunker Hill Monument brings tears of the birth of a nation.

LCpl Craig A. Charbonneau - I went there once as an asst. coach for the Army crew team when they participated in the Head of the Charles meet. Beautiful city. My son's wife is currently at Harvard getting the Executive Leadership Certificate instead of going to the War College. . . .

Spent the day yesterday September 16th in Boston for the 250th anniversary of the Boston tea party. I knew I wouldn’t make the 300th. What a day and nighttime reenactment. Every state in the country donated tea for the dumping including England. Folks from all over the world were there. A little chilly but well worth the time and effort. Professional actors donated their time to make all that more realistic.

Oh wow! The Boston Tea Party was actually a revolt of taxation without representation. Is this why we are a representative republic MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. ?

That was a huge factor in uniting the colonists against British rule among other things.
