Apparently SUV’s, gas ranges and other biological enabling devices appeared earlier than previously believed.

Trump's fault.

Sorry, had to do it. I know where to go and how long to stay.

Interesting. The only "supercontinent" that I know of is Pangea. It was formed when Gondwana, Euramerica, and Siberia joined, then later split into the continents we see today. And yes, climate change is a cyclic process that has been occurring on Earth (and likely all the planets in our solar system) apparently in sync with Solar cycles. Interestingly, mammals appear to be the only species that have survived major changes in climate, and we are mammals. Of course, if we destroy our greatest advantage, the one that allows us to adapt to climate change, our intelligence, we may well perish in the next cycle. Led by Biden, we are well on our way to extinction. Every time he opens his mouth, he subtracts something from the sum total of human knowledge. Hopefully, we can reverse the trend.

So tectonic shifts and LOWERING sea levels are comparable to this. This global warming stuff has very little to do with humans. The planet is going to do what it does, whether we are here or not.
"The team also thinks that this historic extinction mirrors what is happening to today's polar ecosystems as a result of human-caused climate change."
