It sure is easy for those of us sitting in the comfort of our homes, warm, with a full belly, to express how those unfortunate enough to have been born in poverty, with no opportunity to improve their situation, should react to all this. I believe most of those Palestinians are busy just trying to survive. (much like the Vietnamese of days past)

I don't even have to read this to know it's a privileged take on a situation that you have never experienced nor will you likely ever experience. How easy it is to sit from your ivory tower and judge these people on what they should or shouldn't do.
