The Public Schools System there are such a mess and probably think if they can kill some of the Charter Schools they will be able to absorb those students who are excelling, boosting their own numbers and also possibly recruit some of the teachers to replace the ones they have that are under performing.

I get dizzy after SMH moments when I read about failing school district’s flailing resistance to successful charter schools!

Because it means fewer jobs for unionized teachers who are the ones who screwed up the schools in the first place.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - Well, the government helped with the creation of the Department of Education which isn't much more than a social programming "think" tank.

From the industry it's interesting that Democrats and leftists hate Charter schools. It's a threat to them and an embarrassment because kids from charter schools have a higher graduation rate and are smarter in the long run and score better on college entrance exams. It's a typical left. They call Equity meaning making everybody dumb and dumber. My mother got the best grades to get the scholarships and she was white hispanic. If this would have been my mom in 2023 california, they would have given her scholarship to study in four countries would have been given to someone other than white and who wasn't as smart. So today's equity and stupid regular school system punish the kids and they have a high dropout rate especially Los Angeles County county!
