Lt Col Charlie Brown I look for Biden to give his son a pardon. That would be about right for the Biden crime family. Rules and laws for you but not for me.

And you may find yourself living with a political hack,
And you may find yourself where guys want to be trans girls,
And you may find yourself unable to buy a gas automobile,
And you may find yourself in a very poor house, with a very poor wife,
And you may ask yourself, "Well, how did I get here?"
Watching the days go by, the media lies to me
Watching the days go by, the President lies to me
Into the red again, after the money's gone
Off to The Ukraine, money thrown in the trash
And you may ask yourself, "I din't vote for him?"
And you may ask yourself, "Where is my gas automobile?"
And you may tell yourself, "This is now my very poor house"
And you may tell yourself, "This is now my very poor wife"
My apologies to The Talking Heads

So, I wouldn't blame any good father for sticking up for their son in public. The thing is, too many people are ignoring the facts and giving Hunter (and the President) WAY too much benefit of the doubt. Why is that? Bias? Probably? The inability to actually admit the person who claims to support their views is likely committing criminal acts? Sounds about right.
I've been pretty clear about my feelings for Trump (not a fan of the man), but he did champion many of the conservative values I want with reasonable success. That said, I do not ignore the accusations being levied against him. But I do look at the facts and the outcome. The Russian conspiracy was BS to begin with and I would even go so far as to say there are more useful idiots enabling Russian human influence operations than there are on the right. In addition, I also believe there are more side deals or unstated understandings going on with elected officials on the left than there are on the right (i.e. they don't conspire and coordinate, they just do what they think is their part to cheat the system in their favor). Anyone what has grown up throughout the second half of the last century and into the last couple of decades knows there has always been more of a tolerance from the left for communist ideas than there could ever be on the right. So, for the left to try and change the narrative to suggest the right supports Russia is beyond laughable. The other attempts to remove Trump from office also failed and failed hard (with the exception of the election) as they should when there weren't even enough facts and evidence to justify the attempts in the first place. Yes, I believe a lot of shenanigans took place to put Biden in office. I cannot prove it, I have seen no concrete evidence or facts, but my gut tells me something is absolutely off when you look at the numbers and many of the activities observed. But it has to be proven for it to have any traction, so the best I can hope for is to make sure we're doing better to identify and stop illegal election activity in the future. I wish Trump would have taken that same stance vs attempting to rehash what he has failed to undeniably prove. That said, I continue to watch the current allegations, but forgive me as I've grown weary of the constant failed attacks against Trump. It's hard to believe there isn't a political motivation behind these attacks and an inconsistent application of enforcing the law. That much has become evident in how the Clinton Server scandal was handled.
Back to President Biden. While it can be admirable to defend one's son, I believe this is really nothing more than self-preservation. Going forward, we will not see a Biden dynasty from this admin. There is no one who will carry on a tradition of politics like the Kennedy's or Bush's with the Bidens, and that is at least a good thing. President Biden has always reminded me of a bully who is all talk and incapable of delivering on his threats personally. He needs others to do that and unfortunately, he has willing idiots ready to take on the task. Put simply, he is a coward and a terrible leader. I find it amazing to watch all the people who hate Trump so much (and even the hatred levied toward President George W. Bush) stay silent as the very things they accused Trump and Bush of doing or representing are all becoming reality with the Bidens. Hunter is a disaster, for example. He's an alcoholic, drug addict, and womanizer. He was kicked out of the Navy, he refused to support a child he helped procreate, and he represents the big business antics that many of the left claim to detest about the rich. Put simply, he would be the perfect model of what the left hates, except for the fact his father is the leader of the Democrat party. Absolute hypocrisy, pure and simple. Change his name to Trump and put an "R" by his father's name and we all know that the following would happen from a significant number on the left:
1. Anti-capitalist would be all over Hunter and his connections to his father claiming nepotism, privilege, etc.
2. Feminists would be outraged at Hunter for his refusal to acknowledge and support his child, and Biden for what he's been accused of and the very strange actions he's demonstrated with the women around him.
3. Veterans on the left would be denouncing Hunter and associating any right leaning Veteran with supporting his transgressions. Additionally, they would be livid about the President's actions in Afghanistan and his stories about his other son having died as a result of his deployment several years before he eventually died of cancer.
That's just to name a few... I've said it several times on RP, and I don't say things like this often. President Biden is the worst President to have "served" this country ever. Not just my lifetime, ever...
