Electric vehicle sales accelerate in Washington state

One in six new cars sold in Washington since January can plug into a power outlet.
Electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids sold at nearly twice the pace in Washington state that they did nationwide in the first five months of 2023, according to the Electric Power Research Institute.
In 2022, electric vehicles were few and far between on car dealer lots in Washington state.
Now, the zero-emission cars are more widely available as the state attempts to kick its century-old gasoline habit and help keep the planet’s climate livable.
A year ago, electric-vehicle manufacturers were diverting their green cars to states like California that had more favorable incentives, leaving Washington drivers in the lurch.
“We saw that change as of the end of the year,” said Matthew Phillips, who owns Car Pros, a chain of seven auto dealerships in Washington and California. “So we're seeing a lot more of the vehicles in Washington state, and also the manufacturers have a lot more models and a lot more availability in general.”

It's probably too late for you to order your Dodge Charger and Challenger since the cutoff was July 31st. Back in 2015, I was looking for a Dodge Challenger and I couldn't find one that I wanted in the province of Alberta but I was able to locate a whole bunch of them and snobbish Victoria Vancouver Island of British Columbia because Victoria was kind of like the Martha's Vineyard or Newport Beach of Canada because you normally saw people with high-end sports cars made in Europe driving around but not Canadian or American muscle cars so they had plenty to choose from at that one dealership.

Also, I think the European Union has agreed to allow natural gas fired power plants to remain running. So people who've been bribed by China and the Eco left like President Biden and others, are going to find out that you have factions within the liberal or Democratic Party or progressives that are realists electrical and mechanical engineers and they can see that wind farms kill bald eagles and a bunch of birds and wave making machines kill whales and other sea life yet nuclear power plants, natural gas fired power plants and even Coal Fired power plants will still continue to make it electricity especially if you're in communist china. LTC Trent Klug in the summer of 2021. I went to my last annual training. The US government paid for 15 days of my orders. They paid me for mileage and my wife came along. We were turning in our ta-50. Because of the covid restrictions, I was able to get a room by myself so my wife came along and that worked out perfectly. We were able to pick a hotel of our choice as long as we stayed under DOD guidelines. We drove our 2018 Chrysler pacifica. It was not a hybrid. The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Touring L model was very comfortable. We got 30 miles per gallon. And with a 287 horsepower V6 engine, we had no problem going over the Canadian rockies. Some parts were as high as 7K ft. You were able to stop in a small towns and get fuel and continue to move forward. I'm sure this would have been challenging for an electric car. I'm sure there are charging stations but not very many because Canada still building them. The only charging stations we saw were at a local casino north of marysville. With over 500 miles, we stopped once to fill up and once to spend the night. Our annual training was a home station drill. Set up our one-star command multiple tactical operations centers using the newer d r a s h tent systems.

Let's not forget that Governor Inslee of Washington State was spiteful and preferred to buy oil from Vladivostok Russia 4700 miles to the West instead of buying oil from Alberta 500 miles to the northeast or from the North Dakota Shale areas which was a thousand miles to the east. Virtue signaling because he considered the oil to be dirty when the oil is just as dirty as the oil from Southern California. This article came from the Canadian newspaper that I read all the time. I still can't understand the mentality of a progressive that thinks he's saving the Earth by shipping oil $4,700 MI East and emitting tons of carbon dioxide from cheap bunker oil which is probably the worst form of fuel instead of having it sent by rail car. This is before stupid President Biden purposely killed the Keystone XL pipeline without consulting his Canadian counterparts and they had already guaranteed at least 1 billion dollars or more to make sure that it was built on their side of the border. The president broke back Biden Administration ruins everything it touches and you wonder why we are no longer a first-rate power.

Let's not forget before President Biden came in and changed the EPA regulations in 2021 to push us out of responsible clean burning fossil fuel cars, the left of Lenin Governor Inslee of Washington State preferred to buy oil from vladivostok, Russia instead of buying oil from Canada or from the North Dakota Shale area because they were spiteful and vindictive. So they would ship oil 7600 km or 4700 miles producing tons of carbon by a tanker using bunker oil. So that's how the left of Lennon Democrats work. As long as they can virtue signal and say that they bought the oil from somewhere other than their friends, who cares about the tons of carbon produced by the tanker shipping it over 4,000 miles Eastward.
I believe that if Republicans gain the presidency and the house and senate, you will see that they will revise the EPA regulations to allow for gasoline and hybrid cars. But you would think that market forces would decide if and when you go electric or not. But present Biden is not a democratic person and neither is most people in his party. Big government to the regulatory state has supposedly added $10,000 per family so far since he took office and I'm sure it's going to get a lot worse.
