We just aren't getting it...every suicide to the person who makes that choice, is an individual one but what ties them together for me is a failure of leadership to connect them to something bigger than themselves...to feel a responsibility to the "tribe"

I just really wonder about the why's of the increase. We aren't at war and there hasn't been any intense issues burning through the services.

All so true. I truly feel for our soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines in our next major conflict. . . .

Being the sin of a Marine and the grandson of a Soldier wounded in WW2, I was told and knew the ramifications of service during a period of war. I still almost fell victim to it.
