I'm not sure how many of the senior officers I worked with and for in the Army Guard would rebel if given orders like Kurt writes about. I wish I could say all, but I would posit a guess of under 40%. There are too many who owe their rank to the political powers that be, and zero allegiance to either the US or State Constitutions.

I can see this written about the left or the right. They will turn on you whether from the left or the right. Name calling comes from the left and the right. Acceptance of murder comes from the left or the right, just not the same individuals. Fear mongering comes from both the left and the right. Lying comes from both the left and the right. The biggest danger to this nation lies in the group think that sprouts from fear mongering from both sides.
